Electrical Estimation Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Estimation Engineer is responsible for producing detailed, accurate cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) projects. Working closely with the tendering team, you will ensure proposals are technically sound, cost‑effective, and aligned with project specifications and company strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed cost estimates for MEP works.
• Request, receive, and analyse quotations from civil, electrical, and MEP suppliers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for accurate quantity surveying.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical and financial proposals.
• Participate in clarification sessions, value‑engineering studies, and cost‑benchmarking activities.
• Maintain estimation records and keep pricing databases up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in MEP cost estimation.
• Strong understanding of MEP construction practices and material pricing.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
