Quantity Surveying Manager – Civil

About the role

The Quantity Surveying Manager will lead and support a multidisciplinary QS team, ensuring accurate material quantity take‑offs, variation management and timely payment applications across civil, mechanical, architectural and electrical trades.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the QS team to produce precise material quantity take‑offs using the company’s specified software and method of measurement.
• Oversee the preparation of professional MQTO reports and variation logs.
• Manage major variations (exceeding EGP 1 million) from initiation to settlement.
• Ensure valuations, payment applications and invoicing are accurate, maximised and submitted on schedule.
• Maximise monthly cash flow and identify finance charges for delayed payments.
• Coordinate collection of social insurance documentation and maintain up‑to‑date bonds, guarantees and insurance policies.
• Provide regular monthly reports to senior management and evaluate QS engineers.
• Adhere to company HSE policies, risk assessments and environmental standards.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering.
• 12‑15 years of post‑graduate experience in quantity surveying or a related field.
• Strong command of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
