Electrical Estimation Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Estimation Engineer will develop detailed, accurate cost estimates for civil or MEP projects, supporting the tendering team with technically sound and cost‑effective proposals. This position requires a solid technical background in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering and the ability to analyse quantities, pricing and market conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, including drawings, specifications and scope of work.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed cost estimates for civil or MEP works.
• Request, receive and analyse quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with architectural, structural or MEP teams for quantity surveying.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical and financial proposals.
• Participate in clarification sessions, providing technical input as needed.
• Support value engineering and cost‑benchmarking initiatives.
• Maintain estimation records and keep pricing databases up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in civil or MEP estimation.
• Strong understanding of construction practices and material pricing.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to use AutoCAD.
