Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Manufacturing Experience

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a multinational manufacturer of home and personal care products in 6th of October, Egypt. The role focuses on ensuring high availability and performance of all electrical equipment within a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and monitor preventive maintenance (PM) plans.
• Manage spare parts inventory and control stock levels.
• Maintain, repair and calibrate all electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Drive OEE improvements and reduce equipment downtime.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, IQ/OQ/PQ documentation for new and existing assets.
• Lead a three‑shift team of technicians, evaluate performance and provide training.
• Report breakdowns, perform root‑cause analysis and implement Kaizen initiatives.
• Oversee software, automation and technical continuous‑improvement projects.
• Participate in budgeting, project change control and stakeholder coordination.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in electrical maintenance within FMCG or pharmaceutical (liquids or cosmetics) environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑shift maintenance teams.

Required skills

• PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Classic control system experience.
