Entry-Level Inventory Accountant – Fresh Graduate

About the role

We are looking for a fresh graduate to join our finance team in Cairo as an Inventory Accountant. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in managing inventory records, supporting audits and collaborating with multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inventory reconciliations, matching physical counts with system data.
• Record all inventory movements – purchases, sales and adjustments – in the accounting system.
• Assist in preparing inventory‑related financial reports and analyses for management.
• Work closely with procurement, warehousing and sales teams to streamline processes and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide documentation and explanations for internal and external audit requirements.
• Identify and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency in inventory accounting.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software for inventory tracking.
