Estimation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Estimation Engineer to join our growing construction team. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, analysing project requirements, and supporting the tendering process for a variety of construction and contracting projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs and cost estimates for construction projects.
• Analyse labour, material, equipment and subcontractor costs.
• Request, evaluate and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for tender submissions.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project teams during the bidding process.
• Identify project risks and opportunities that may impact costs.
• Maintain and update cost databases, pricing records and estimation templates.
• Support value‑engineering initiatives to optimise project costs.
• Participate in tender clarification meetings and pre‑bid discussions.
• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and submitted within deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying or tendering within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and project execution.
• Experience with civil works, infrastructure, landscaping or building construction is preferred.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with estimation software.
