External Communications & PR Associate Manager

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking an experienced External Communications & PR Associate Manager to lead the development and execution of its corporate communications strategy in Egypt. The role will support the Business Unit General Manager and drive brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, and social impact initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive corporate communications plan aligned with the Strategic Business Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
• Manage executive communications for the Business Unit GM, highlighting Performance With Purpose to key stakeholders.
• Lead media relations, ensuring optimal corporate positioning and handling crisis communications.
• Oversee brand PR activities, including press releases, influencer partnerships, reputation monitoring, and campaign measurement.
• Coordinate external engagements with government bodies, industry groups, and strategic customers in partnership with Public Policy & Global Affairs.
• Drive the social impact agenda, manage agency and NGO relationships, and liaise with the PepsiCo Foundation on joint projects.
• Plan and execute corporate and brand events, and supervise social media strategy and content.
• Produce high‑quality PR materials such as briefing documents, media kits, and executive talking points.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
• 7‑9 years of experience in a similar communications or PR role within the private sector or government.
• Strong copywriting and storytelling abilities, with a proven track record of aligning content to strategic objectives.
