Factory Manager

About the role

Jaffangroup is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead its food manufacturing facility in Obour City, Cairo. The role focuses on driving productivity, quality, efficiency and overall operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day factory operations, ensuring production plans and targets are met on time.
• Lead Production, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and other factory functions while optimizing capacity, manpower and resources.
• Monitor production costs, implement cost‑reduction initiatives and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, Quality and HSE standards.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans, track KPIs and drive continuous‑improvement projects.
• Coach and evaluate management teams and coordinate with Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, HR, R&D and other departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Agriculture or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in food manufacturing, including senior management roles.
• Proven track record in large‑scale food production, cost control and quality management.
• Strong leadership, analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• GMP, HACCP and Food Safety knowledge.
• Quality Management Systems expertise.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using ERP systems.
