Food Safety and Compliance Lead

About the role

Kraft Heinz is looking for a Food Safety & Compliance Lead to lead and strengthen its food safety systems, compliance framework and quality culture across the 6 October factory. The role ensures that products, processes and manufacturing practices consistently meet company standards, regulatory requirements and recognised food safety certification schemes, using a proactive, risk-based approach.

Key responsibilities

• Lead food safety and quality systems across the manufacturing site
• Manage HACCP reviews, food defence programmes and internal audit activities
• Support new product launches, line extensions and process improvement projects
• Oversee compliance with external certifications and regulatory requirements
• Drive corrective and preventive actions through risk assessment and gap analysis
• Manage customer complaints, customer satisfaction processes and site documentation control
• Deliver food safety and quality training to employees and strengthen site capability
• Promote a strong quality culture and share best practices across Kraft Heinz factories

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science or Agriculture
• 5+ years of experience in Food Safety or Quality Assurance, ideally in FMCG
• Fluency in Arabic and English
• Strong analytical skills, a results-driven mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of food safety systems, food hazards, microbiology and quality processes
• Experience with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000 and food safety standards
• Lead Auditor certification is a plus
