Freelance AI-Assisted Software QA Tester

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented freelance QA tester to validate web, mobile, and cloud applications. Using both manual techniques and AI‑powered tools, you will ensure each project meets quality, security, and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review project requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute manual and AI‑assisted test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, usability, compatibility, and exploratory testing.
• Leverage AI tools to generate scenarios, automate repetitive tasks, and expand test coverage.
• Identify, document, and prioritize defects in bug‑tracking systems.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
• Produce detailed test reports with findings, screenshots, videos, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to resolve issues before release.

Required profile

• 2+ years of manual software testing experience (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly.
• Experience using AI to improve testing efficiency.

Required skills

• Manual testing techniques.
• Bug tracking tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, GitHub Issues, ClickUp.
• Web and mobile application testing.
• API testing with Postman or similar.
• AI‑powered QA tools: Testim, KaneAI, Copilot, ChatGPT.
• Basic automation knowledge: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium.
