Frontend Developer (React)

About the role

Swisstech is a fast‑growing FinTech startup looking for a skilled Frontend Developer with deep expertise in React. You will join a product‑driven engineering team and help build modern, secure, and scalable financial platforms used by thousands of users daily.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable front‑end components using React.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back‑end engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Implement responsive and accessible UI designs.
• Own features from concept through production, including performance optimisation and debugging.
• Ensure cross‑browser and cross‑platform compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Experience with state‑management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
• Familiarity with TypeScript and modular architecture.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Experience with front‑end build tools (Webpack, Vite) and Git version control.
• Exposure to front‑end testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library) is a plus.
• Previous work in FinTech or on data‑rich interfaces is a strong advantage.
