Full-Stack QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)

About the role

Nexus Analytica, a leading consultancy and digital solutions provider in the energy sector, is looking for a motivated Full‑Stack QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) to join its Cairo office. The role involves ensuring software quality across the entire technology stack, from requirement refinement to final deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for regression and performance testing.
• Perform manual testing of new features, bug fixes, and user interfaces.
• Identify, record, and track defects through resolution using bug‑tracking tools.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and user‑acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, providing input during planning and review.
• Analyse test results and generate detailed quality and performance reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with both manual and automation testing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Required skills

• Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for automated testing.
• Python, JavaScript, or Java scripting/programming.
• API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
• Version control with Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
