Full Stack / Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

Vylara is seeking a Full Stack / Software Engineer to join its remote team. You will help build and maintain the core features of a cloud‑native deployment platform that automates infrastructure provisioning for engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and user‑facing interfaces.
• Write clean, testable code and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and design partners to deliver intuitive workflows.
• Integrate with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and work with containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Apply infrastructure‑as‑code principles to ensure seamless deployment in customer environments.
• Improve system performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate in technical design discussions and architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer science concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
• Proven experience building production‑grade applications and debugging complex issues.
• Hands‑on experience with back‑end web development, RESTful APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate clearly in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; startup or developer‑tools experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Object‑Oriented Programming and modern software engineering practices (testing, CI/CD, code reviews).
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Front‑end frameworks and API design.
• Version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub).
