Graduate Training Program – Embedded Software (6‑month R&D Internship)

About the role

Join Valeo’s Power Team for a six‑month, full‑time Graduate Training Program focused on embedded software development within the R&D department. You will gain hands‑on experience designing, testing and integrating software components for automotive applications while working alongside seasoned engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain C code according to component requirements and design specifications.
• Apply MISRA‑C guidelines and Valeo naming conventions.
• Configure software components and integrate them into the overall system.
• Create and execute component test plans, test cases and validation on hardware targets.
• Run static analysis tools, interpret results and address identified issues.
• Follow defined project processes, attend daily and weekly meetings, and report progress.
• Identify improvement opportunities and raise flags for potential project risks.
• Document software bugs in the configuration‑management tool.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (2024 or 2025) with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Arabic; French is a strong plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
