Head of Procurement

About the role

Geidea is seeking a Group Head of Procurement to lead its procurement function within the Operational Excellence team. Reporting to the Group Chief Operational Excellence Officer, the role is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that support the company’s fintech and technology solutions business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives across all lines.
• Manage the procurement budget, balancing direct and indirect spend.
• Oversee direct procurement of core items such as payment terminals, software solutions and fintech products.
• Manage indirect procurement including office supplies, marketing services, IT infrastructure and third‑party consultants.
• Source, negotiate and administer contracts to secure best value and compliance.
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor vendor SLA performance.
• Track market trends and provide insights for procurement decisions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance in all operating markets.
• Implement and improve procurement systems and processes to increase efficiency and data‑driven decision making.
• Lead automation initiatives for procurement workflows.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading procurement functions, preferably in fintech or technology environments.
• Strong understanding of both direct and indirect procurement processes.
• Demonstrated ability to develop cost‑effective strategies and manage sizable budgets.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting procurement in multiple markets.
