Hotel Assistant Manager (Duty Manager)

About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence is looking for an experienced Hotel Assistant Manager (Duty Manager) to manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel. The hotel is located in the First Mall complex in Giza, near the Nile and the zoological gardens.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel
• Ensure excellent customer service by interacting with guests and addressing their needs
• Lead a team, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management
• Develop and implement policies and procedures, and coordinate with other departments
• Monitor and analyse financial and operational performance and recommend improvements
• Maintain a safe and secure environment and resolve customer complaints promptly
• Manage inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable laws

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Duty Manager or similar role
• Native Arabic speaker with citizenship authorization
• More than 1 year of experience
• Working knowledge of division operations, English reading, writing and speaking, and ability to use computers and front desk systems
• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
