Hotel Laundry Washer

About the role

The Washer position supports the hotel’s laundry operations at Cairo International Airport. You will handle the full cycle of cleaning, drying, and processing guest and staff linens while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Remove and separate soiled laundry from chutes or housekeeping carts.
• Operate washing, dry‑cleaning, and drying machinery according to company standards.
• Apply appropriate treatments for stains based on fabric type.
• Maintain accurate records of items washed, load counts, and dry‑cleaning poundage.
• Transport carts of washed articles to dryers and load them correctly.
• Clean lint, debris, and filters from dryers after each load.
• Monitor chemical levels, report pump issues, and follow safety procedures.
• Inspect tools and equipment for defects and report maintenance needs.

Required profile

• No high‑school diploma or GED required.
• No prior laundry or related work experience needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for an entire shift.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects up to 25 lb without assistance.
• Comfortable working in narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and on uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Willingness to follow all company safety, security, and confidentiality policies.
