HR & Legal Operations Specialist

About the role

TradesApp is seeking an experienced HR & Legal Operations Specialist to lead and enhance its human resources functions while ensuring full compliance with Egyptian labor law. The role combines hands‑on HR management with a strong legal focus, requiring independent handling of day‑to‑day employee matters and strategic advice to management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, contract renewals, transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions, and off‑boarding.
• Prepare, review, and maintain employment contracts, amendments, confidentiality agreements, and other HR documentation.
• Maintain accurate personnel files, monitor attendance, leave, probation periods, and contract expiry dates.
• Support payroll preparation by providing precise employee, attendance, and compensation data.
• Coordinate performance evaluations, probation reviews, and handle employee grievances confidentially.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures, and documentation comply with Egyptian Labor Law and related regulations.
• Advise management on legal implications of employment decisions and keep the company updated on legislative changes.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel when specialized employment‑law advice is required.
• Oversee recruitment processes for technical, administrative, and business roles, including job posting, screening, interviews, and background checks.

Required profile

• Legal education (law degree) with substantial experience in Egyptian labor or employment law.
• Proven track record in HR operations, employee relations, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of Egyptian labor legislation and ability to interpret its impact on HR practices.
• Excellent communication and confidential handling of sensitive employee matters.
