HR Manager

About the role

As the first dedicated HR Manager at FORTE, you will build and lead the entire human resources function for a growing professional services firm. This senior‑level, full‑time hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape people strategy, drive culture, and support business objectives from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment to attract and hire top‑tier talent.
• Develop and administer performance management, career development, and succession planning programs.
• Lead employee relations, providing guidance and resolution for conflicts, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
• Advise senior leadership on employment‑law compliance, compensation, and HR best practices.
• Establish and manage HR systems, records, and metrics reporting.

Required profile

• 5+ years progressive experience as an HR Generalist or Manager with a broad scope of responsibilities.
• Demonstrated expertise across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
• In‑depth knowledge of federal and multi‑state employment laws.
• Strong business acumen and ability to influence senior leadership.
• Excellent judgment and problem‑solving skills for handling complex employee situations.
