HR Manager – Travel & Tourism

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for a leading travel and tourism company in El Sheikh Zayed City, Giza. The role will oversee recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination and ensure compliance with Egyptian labour legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage full HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, personnel administration, payroll coordination, and employee relations.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with Egyptian Labour Law.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Oversee employee records, contracts, attendance, leave management, and payroll inputs.
• Ensure compliance with Social Insurance and labour authority regulations.
• Support managers in performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee‑related matters.
• Prepare HR reports on headcount, turnover, recruitment status, and compliance updates.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate HR documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–7 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or senior HR role.
• Experience in the tourism, travel or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labour Law, payroll, personnel and Social Insurance.
• HR certifications such as SHRM‑CP, PHRi or CIPD (preferred).
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Residence in or near El Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October or Giza (preferred).

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
