Implementation Engineer

About the role

As an Implementation Engineer at Group-IB, you will join the global delivery team to deploy and maintain the company’s advanced threat detection platforms – Group-IB XDR and Group-IB BEP – for enterprise customers. You will work directly with large-scale infrastructures, ensuring that the solutions operate flawlessly and enhance the security posture of each client.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Group-IB XDR and BEP in on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments.
• Install, integrate and initialise servers, hypervisors and network components.
• Perform system diagnostics, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and guarantee platform stability.
• Manage network and email traffic sources (SPAN, TAP, SMTP, O365, Google Mail) for product integration.
• Collect and analyse logs, traffic captures and system data to resolve operational problems.
• Support pilots and production roll-outs, providing remote and on-site assistance.
• Collaborate with Product, R&D and Threat Intelligence teams to escalate and reproduce complex issues.
• Prepare technical documentation and communicate progress to customers in English.

Required profile

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux (Arch/Ubuntu) and Windows Server administration.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, SPAN/RSPAN, GRE, VPN, routing, DHCP, DNS, ARP, TCP flags).
• Practical knowledge of firewalls (iptables, nftables, UFW, Windows Firewall) and secure remote-access solutions (OpenVPN, WireGuard).
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as ESXi and Hyper-V, including VM deployment and networking.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools like tcpdump, Wireshark, curl and OpenSSL.
