Import & Procurement Specialist

About the role

The Import & Procurement Specialist will be based on‑site in Mesadak El Doki and will manage the full import cycle while driving procurement activities. This full‑time position ensures shipments are coordinated, documentation is accurate, and all international trade regulations are met.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end import processes, including shipment scheduling, documentation preparation, and customs compliance.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers, track purchase orders, and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Communicate daily with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve shipment or documentation issues.
• Monitor delivery timelines, costs, and inventory levels, providing regular performance reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements in import and procurement workflows.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of import procedures and international trade regulations.
• Experience in documentation, customs, and compliance within international trade operations.
• Customer‑service orientation for managing supplier and client communications.
• Ability to analyse procurement data, manage budgets and optimise costs.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade or a related field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems.
• Competence in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
