About the role
A customer of Qureos Inc is hiring an Industrial Electrical Engineer for a full-time position in Suez, Egypt. The role suits a skilled and experienced electrical engineer with industrial experience; a background in the textile industry is preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of industrial electrical systems, control panels and production machinery to minimise downtime.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and fix complex electrical faults in PLCs, motors, drives and other automated systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals to carry out installations and repairs.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with company and industry health and safety standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in the textile manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Required skills
- Strong practical knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, servo motors and industrial control systems.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
