InfoSec Awareness & Engagement Lead – Banking

About the role

This contract position leads the design, implementation, and management of a comprehensive information security awareness and engagement programme for a major Egyptian bank. The role blends marketing strategy, internal communications, vendor coordination, and behavioural‑change techniques to embed a strong security culture across all staff levels.

Key responsibilities

• Design a holistic, annual InfoSec Awareness Programme covering all employee segments, tailoring content by role, language, digital literacy, and regulatory obligations.
• Apply behavioural‑science principles (nudge theory, social proof, loss aversion) to create campaigns that change behaviour, not just raise awareness.
• Map activities to security pillars, the CBE Cybersecurity Framework, and PCI DSS awareness requirements.
• Define and monitor KPIs such as phishing‑simulation click rates, training completion, awareness survey scores, and staff‑reported incidents.
• Produce and distribute communications via email newsletters, intranet, digital signage, branch posters, and leadership messages in both Arabic and English.
• Collaborate with the Marketing function to ensure materials align with brand guidelines.
• Manage external vendors, oversee content delivery, measure impact, and report results to senior executives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading security awareness programmes in a large organization, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of behavioural‑change techniques and ability to translate technical security concepts into clear business language.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
