Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

This position leads the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise compute and storage infrastructure platforms. It focuses on virtualization, storage systems, container platforms, and hybrid cloud environments with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, performance, and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the technical SME for compute, storage, virtualization, container, and hybrid cloud platforms across on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Architect, implement, and operate VMware, Hyper‑V, OpenShift, Kubernetes, NAS, SAN, HCI, and enterprise storage solutions.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code and platform automation using Terraform, DevOps tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Own lifecycle management including capacity planning, provisioning, patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and decommissioning.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux, Windows, compute, storage, virtualization, containers, networking, and cloud layers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a related field.
• 4‑7 years of relevant experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewall fundamentals, ITIL processes and operational governance.
