About the role
The Internal Auditor will support the Internal Audit department by assessing financial, operational and compliance processes. This position ensures the accuracy of records, identifies risks and contributes to strengthening internal controls to protect assets and improve efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and analyse financial and operational data to detect errors, risks or control weaknesses.
- Review records, documents and transactions for compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Participate in audit fieldwork, including walkthroughs, testing and documentation.
- Assist in evaluating internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Prepare audit working papers and help draft audit findings.
- Support the preparation of audit reports and follow‑up on corrective actions.
- Conduct interviews with employees to gather audit evidence.
- Monitor compliance with financial, operational and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with various departments during audit assignments.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 1‑2 years of experience in audit or related financial analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills and high integrity.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics or Axapta.
