Internal Communication and Employee Engagement Section Head

About the role

The Internal Communication & Employee Engagement Section Head leads the development and execution of the organization’s internal communication and engagement strategy. This senior role ensures a strong culture, positive employee experience, and alignment with People & Culture objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an internal communication and employee engagement strategy that supports business goals.
• Oversee all internal communication channels, delivering timely, consistent, and engaging messages.
• Plan and execute culture campaigns, recognition programs, corporate events, and other engagement initiatives.
• Create communication plans for organizational changes, business initiatives, and People & Culture programs.
• Measure engagement through surveys and feedback, recommending actions to improve employee experience.
• Develop and manage internship programs, collaborating with universities and business units.
• Represent the organization at employment fairs, career events, and employer‑branding activities.
• Coordinate in‑kind employee benefits and recognition initiatives with internal stakeholders.
• Maintain the annual People & Culture and Employee Engagement calendar.
• Produce internal communication assets such as newsletters, announcements, presentations, videos and digital content.
• Monitor communication effectiveness and engagement metrics, preparing reports and improvement recommendations.
• Manage relationships with external vendors supporting engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Mass Communication or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in internal communication, employee engagement or corporate communications.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage large‑scale engagement programs.
• Strong analytical skills to assess engagement data and drive continuous improvement.
