Inventory Controller – Manage Stock & Optimize KPIs

About the role

The Inventory Controller will ensure accurate stock records and support production planning at MATGR For Engineering And Trading in New Cairo. You will monitor inventory movements, conduct audits and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain optimal stock levels.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain precise inventory records and track all stock movements.
• Perform regular wall‑to‑wall, cyclical and ad‑hoc inventory audits, resolving any discrepancies.
• Monitor inventory levels to support production and operations, providing data for planning and forecasting.
• Analyze inventory turnover, identify slow‑moving items and report key performance indicators.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, production and suppliers regarding deliveries, quality and issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in manufacturing, retail or high‑volume environments.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems (ERP, preferably Odoo) and audit/loss‑prevention practices.
• Familiarity with production planning and forecasting.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• ERP (Odoo) inventory management.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Data reporting tools for KPI monitoring.
