Java Backend Developer (Spring Boot) – Banking Sector

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable banking applications using Spring Boot. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality APIs that power web and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend services with Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams in an Agile environment.
• Write clean, well‑documented code and conduct code reviews.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of applications.
• Debug and resolve production issues promptly.
• Build containerised applications with Docker and deploy to Kubernetes.
• Work with relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases to model data efficiently.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Web, Spring Data, and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience building RESTful APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with unit testing (JUnit) and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Maven or Gradle.
• Solid understanding of OOP principles and database concepts (SQL & NoSQL).
