Junior Cost Control Engineer

About the role

Arabian Construction Company (ACC) is looking for a motivated Junior Cost Control Engineer to support the management and optimisation of project costs on high‑profile construction projects across Egypt. This entry‑level position offers the chance to build a career in cost control and construction management while working with experienced senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing project budgets and tracking costs to ensure alignment with financial targets.
• Support the monitoring of project expenditures to maintain cost efficiency.
• Help prepare regular cost reports for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project teams, procurement and subcontractors to collect accurate cost data.
• Analyse cost variations, identify potential deviations and support financial forecasting under senior guidance.
• Identify potential cost risks, escalate them to senior engineers and assist in implementing cost‑control measures.
• Ensure compliance with ACC’s financial policies and maintain accurate cost‑control records and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 0–2 years of experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Basic understanding of cost control, budgeting and construction processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of cost‑control tools is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
