Junior Cost Controller - French Speaker

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Cost Controller who is fluent in French and English to join our project controls team in Cairo. You will help ensure effective cost management across major EPCM projects by implementing and maintaining control systems, tools, and reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project controls procedures and standards.
• Coordinate rollout of the EcoSys cost control tool, including training and support.
• Track, analyze, and report project expenditures against budgets and forecasts, preparing monthly cost reports, variance analyses, and dashboards.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of budgets, actual costs, forecasts, accruals, and cash‑flow projections.
• Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads, and procurement teams to update forecasts, evaluate change orders, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support contract management and invoicing by reviewing invoices and monitoring accruals.
• Participate in project meetings to provide controls updates and ensure compliance with internal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of cost‑control experience, preferably on large EPCM projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost allocation, and financial risk management.
• Professional fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
• Ability to work flexibly across time zones such as UK, Canada, or USA.
