Junior Frontend Developer (Angular)

About the role

Advansys is looking for a Junior Frontend Developer in Cairo who has a keen eye for design. Front-end developers ensure that web design and user experience requirements are aligned, optimise web pages for maximum efficiency and maintain brand consistency across all pages. They work in teams with back-end developers, graphic designers and UX designers, which calls for excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop front-end (Angular) technologies and scalable web applications using open-source technologies.
• Build responsive web applications with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript and their frameworks for desktop, tablet and mobile.
• Work with UX designers, architects and other developers to implement full-stack web and mobile solutions.
• Create efficient, scalable web interfaces and bring new ideas to improve the environment.
• Contribute to applications designed for clustered or distributed environments.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Computer Science.
• 1-2 years of experience with modern front-end Angular frameworks.
• Experience with single-page application (SPA) concepts and architecture.
• Ability to create self-contained, reusable and testable modules and components.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API tools; CMS and version control systems also mentioned.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and jQuery.
• Working knowledge of Node.js, NPM and the Angular CLI.
• Experience with JavaScript build tools such as Babel, Webpack and Grunt.
• Deep knowledge of Angular practices and modules, and experience with Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks.
• Clean, structured and well-documented code.
