About the role
We are a B2B marketplace that connects retailers with wholesalers, suppliers and producers. As a Key Account Manager you will build and nurture long‑term relationships with senior decision‑makers at strategic customer accounts, driving growth and increasing gross merchandise value (GMV) across the platform.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain effective long‑term relationships with senior decision‑makers at assigned strategic accounts.
- Research and identify potential strategic partners aligned with Cartona’s objectives.
- Identify, develop and close new sales opportunities to create demand for Cartona’s products and services.
- Achieve revenue targets by increasing GMV per account.
- Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with customers’ senior management to understand needs and match them to Cartona’s offerings.
- Provide excellent service and support, solving operational issues between suppliers, restaurants and the company.
- Deliver quarterly reviews to partners, highlighting growth areas and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal departments to ensure brand requirements are met and strategies are executed.
- Maintain a detailed record of all activities using Excel and internal systems.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Proven experience in key account management, including acquiring and managing new key accounts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long‑term customer relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking, problem‑solving and negotiation skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to market or business changes.
- Passion for learning, continuous improvement and thriving in a fast‑paced environment.
