About the role
We are seeking a Kong Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in Kong Gateway to design, implement and manage API gateway solutions, supporting the full API lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy and manage APIs using Kong Gateway.
- Configure routing, security, rate limiting and traffic management.
- Integrate APIs with microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor API performance and troubleshoot issues.
Required profile
- 5–8 years of experience in API management.
- Proven experience with Kong Gateway.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of API security mechanisms such as OAuth2 and JWT.
