Lead Architect

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Lead Architect to own the delivery of multidisciplinary projects and ensure design compliance across the full asset life‑cycle. You will act as the central point of coordination, translating client briefs into technically sound architectural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of project delivery and produce detailed architectural packages.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of design disciplines.
• Cross‑check designs for compliance with local planning policies and statutory requirements.
• Apply quality standards to all submissions and documentation.
• Liaise with clients and contractors to align designs with brief and regulatory guidelines.
• Review and validate project‑related technical documents.
• Develop strategic approaches for upcoming project stages.

Required profile

• B.Arch. graduate with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience (M.Arch. preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, building elements, and RIBA stages.
• Extensive experience with ME projects and applicable codes.
• Proven ability to coordinate across disciplines and address technical requirements.
