Lead Document Controller

About the role

Scatec is looking for a Lead Document Controller to oversee document control delivery across one or more renewable energy projects. You will ensure consistent application of procedures, maintain continuous document availability, and act as the primary interface for clients, contractors, and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate document control activities for assigned EPC/Construction projects.
• Set up, operate, and hand over the project Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
• Manage internal documentation such as contracts, MDL, and Gate Review materials.
• Maintain oversight of numbering, revision control, metadata, and document review workflows.
• Perform quality checks, resolve document issues, and ensure uninterrupted coverage.
• Mentor Document Controllers and Site Document Controllers.
• Report status, risks, and performance to project and management teams.
• Coordinate TTO documentation handover to SPV and O&M.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum 5 years of document control experience, preferably on EPC/Construction projects.
• Strong understanding of the full document life‑cycle and EDMS flow processes.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
