Lead SysOps Engineer

About the role

Integrant is looking for a Principal DevOps/SysOps Engineer to join its team in Cairo. The role covers Linux server administration, cluster management, containerization, cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code, working closely with development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and maintain Linux and Windows servers in physical and virtual environments
• Manage HPC clusters and job schedulers such as SLURM or Run:AI
• Implement, administer and optimize Docker and Kubernetes in large-scale environments
• Build CI/CD pipelines, use GitOps and apply cloud technologies
• Write automation scripts in Bash and Python, and tune performance
• Configure firewalls, load balancers and VPNs, and troubleshoot complex system and network issues
• Install and use monitoring tools, and apply cybersecurity best practices
• Use Terraform and Ansible for reproducible infrastructure deployment
• Work with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure or Google)

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• 8+ years of experience, proven as a DevOps Engineer
• Strong Linux knowledge and familiarity with the software development lifecycle
• Preferred: CKA/CKAD/CKS certification, DevOps/cloud/cybersecurity certifications, community involvement and active participation in open-source projects
