About the role
The Learning & Development Senior Manager will drive business‑focused training initiatives for Mashreq Egypt, enhancing employee knowledge, technical competence, and overall performance. This senior position reports to senior leadership and works closely with line managers across the bank.
Key responsibilities
- Design, organise and deliver structured orientation programmes for new hires.
- Identify, analyse and address banking and finance training needs.
- Coordinate with guest speakers, line managers and external training providers.
- Develop training materials, manuals and continuously improve delivery methods.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of banking developments and incorporate them into training.
- Prepare and manage the quarterly training calendar and monthly L&D reports.
- Ensure each staff member has a Personal Development Plan and monitor its execution.
Required profile
- Management graduate with a banking qualification.
- Minimum 7 years of banking experience, preferably in commercial banking.
- At least 3 years of experience in training design and delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications and software.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office Suite
