Localization Vendor Coordinator (Hybrid)

About the role

The Localization Vendor Coordinator supports the growth and quality of our multilingual resource pool. Working closely with project managers and finance, you will recruit, qualify, and manage external linguist vendors to meet client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and qualify new specialized vendors for multilingual projects.
• Maintain and update vendor databases, contracts, and documentation.
• Communicate vendor availability and status to the Project Management team.
• Define test procedures, handle test translations, and assess resource suitability.
• Support tender and quotation processes by providing qualified resource options.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing for purchased services.
• Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely vendor payments and contract finalisation.
• Monitor vendor performance, act as escalation point, and foster long‑term partnerships.
• Stay informed on industry trends and liaise with professional organisations and universities.

Required profile

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in languages or translation).
• At least 6 months experience in the localization field (a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
• Effective interpersonal and time‑management skills with a proactive attitude.
