Localization Vendor Coordinator Intern

About the role

As a Localization Vendor Coordinator Intern you will support the Vendor Management team in recruiting, onboarding and maintaining relationships with freelance linguists and language service providers. The internship provides hands‑on exposure to the localization industry and the chance to develop recruitment, communication and operational skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing, screening and recruiting freelance linguists and external vendors across multiple languages and specialisations.
• Support the expansion and upkeep of multilingual vendor databases.
• Coordinate with Project Management on resource requests and vendor availability.
• Help assess vendor qualifications by organising test translations and gathering documentation.
• Maintain accurate vendor records, profiles and contracts in internal systems.
• Assist with vendor onboarding and ensure completion of required documents.
• Support contract preparation and follow‑up on renewals.
• Work with Finance to track vendor payments and related documentation.
• Build and maintain positive vendor relationships through timely communication.
• Conduct market research to identify new language professionals and industry trends.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Vendor Management team as needed.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, Linguistics, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Proactive, eager to learn and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interest in the localisation, translation or language‑services industry.
