Localization Vendor Coordinator

About the role

The Localization Vendor Coordinator is responsible for building and managing a network of multilingual vendors that support our clients' translation and localization projects. You will act as the main liaison between the vendor community, project managers, and finance to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective resource delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, select, qualify, and develop external language resources according to specialization, vertical, and budget constraints.
• Expand and maintain multilingual vendor databases to meet client demand.
• Communicate clearly with the Project Management team, providing status updates and feedback on linguists.
• Define resource requirements, design test procedures, and evaluate test translations or work samples.
• Support tender and quotation processes by supplying qualified vendor options.
• Negotiate terms and conditions for purchased services and manage contract setup, follow‑up, and renewal.
• Collaborate with Finance to process vendor payments and finalize contracts.
• Monitor vendor integration, usage, availability, and act as an escalation point when issues arise.
• Develop partnerships focused on utilization, cost control, quality, and commitment.
• Stay informed on industry trends, benchmark best practices, and liaise with professional organizations and universities.

Required profile

• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in languages or translation).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
• Effective time‑management and a proactive attitude.
• Experience in negotiation and persuasion is a plus.
