About the role

The Managing Director for North Africa is a senior leadership position responsible for driving sustainable growth, profitability and operational excellence across a cluster of North African countries. Reporting to the Global Executive Team, the role combines strategic vision with disciplined execution while fostering a high‑performance, compliant culture.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a member of the Global Executive Team, shaping regional and enterprise strategy and providing board‑level updates.
• Develop and implement a region‑specific strategic roadmap aligned with corporate objectives, setting revenue, market‑share and product targets.
• Hold full P&L accountability, lead budget preparation, and ensure profitability through cost discipline and performance monitoring.
• Maintain direct relationships with key customers and suppliers, define product and pricing strategies, and drive acquisition and retention.
• Ensure alignment with global teams, promote knowledge sharing and cross‑regional collaboration.
• Oversee risk, compliance and governance, guaranteeing adherence to applicable laws and corporate standards.

Required profile

• Proven ability to operate at Executive or CEO level within a complex, multi‑country environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L management and financial stewardship.
• Demonstrated leadership in building high‑performance teams and fostering a compliant culture.
• Excellent judgment in high‑impact decisions and board‑level communication.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering growth and operational excellence.
