Mechanic Technician – Fleet Maintenance & Forklift Management

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic Technician to lead fleet maintenance for our bus fleet and manage forklift operations. The role combines hands‑on repair work with supervision of forklift drivers to ensure safety and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and scheduled servicing on company buses, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on buses and related fleet vehicles.
• Conduct preventive inspections, document findings, and complete maintenance checklists for all buses.
• Monitor the condition of forklifts, carry out regular inspections, minor repairs, and maintain detailed maintenance records.
• Oversee a team of forklift drivers, assign work, monitor performance, and enforce safety protocols.
• Report major issues, coordinate with supervisors for extensive repairs, and ensure all vehicles meet regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with buses, fleet vehicles, and material‑handling equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Supervisory or team‑lead experience preferred for managing forklift drivers.
• Commitment to safety, preventive maintenance, and operational best practices.
• Residence in Cairo (preferably 6‑October) and ability to read and write Arabic.
