Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

This full-time, on-site position is based in the 10th of Ramadan area and focuses on maintaining the reliability and efficiency of mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities on plant machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and implement effective repair solutions.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend reliability improvements.
• Support machine installation, commissioning and continuous-improvement projects.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and maintenance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Very good command of English.

Required skills

• Preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance techniques.
• Troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Experience with SAP (advantageous).
