Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures that Froneri’s production and laboratory operations meet the highest food safety and quality standards. This role implements GMP, GLP and ISO 22000 based systems, supports regulatory compliance in Egypt, and drives continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 22000, HACCP and internal standards.
• Conduct audits of production areas, distribution centres and laboratories, and support GMP, GLP and CRQS inspections.
• Perform routine microbiological analysis, pathogen monitoring and oversee laboratory equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian food safety regulations, manage regulatory inspections and close observations.
• Collect, analyse and trend quality data, prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver food safety, hygiene and quality training to operational staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in food manufacturing quality or food safety roles.
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, HACCP, ISO 22000 and basic microbiological testing.
• Familiarity with Egyptian food safety laws is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
