About the role

The Medical Records Administrator is responsible for ensuring that patient medical records are accurately maintained, securely stored, and readily available in compliance with regulatory standards. This role supports healthcare providers by managing the electronic health record (EHR) system and facilitating timely information release.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain patient medical records according to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
• Oversee the release of patient information, ensuring compliance with national regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and quality checks to guarantee record accuracy and completeness.
• Administer the electronic health record system, including user access, security controls, and data integrity.
• Collect, archive, and transmit company files as required.
• Perform data analysis related to mortality cases and generate required reports.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care.
• Provide training and support on medical record documentation and EHR system usage.
• Respond promptly to record requests from patients, providers, and legal entities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on medical record management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in medical records administration or a related healthcare role.
