Mendix Developer

About the role

Nexttec Technology is a leading technology outsourcing company that delivers innovative solutions to businesses of all sizes. We are looking for a highly skilled Mendix Developer to join our client’s team. In this role you will design, build, and maintain Mendix applications that meet complex business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Mendix applications using best‑practice architecture, domain models, microflows, nanoflows and custom Java actions.
• Implement robust security models, auditing, logging and monitoring while adhering to DevOps, BizDevOps and SecDevOps principles.
• Integrate Mendix solutions with external systems via REST, SOAP, OData, Kafka, databases and identity providers.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers and drive solution‑design workshops.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, branching strategies and perform comprehensive testing.

Required profile

• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, especially for complex integration and performance issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client‑facing interactions and documentation.
• Proactive stakeholder‑management and facilitation skills in agile or waterfall environments.

Required skills

• Mendix Advanced/Expert certification and 3+ years of Mendix development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, SQL and building custom actions.
• Hands‑on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, REST/SOAP API design and documentation.
• Familiarity with Mendix Cloud, Azure, OpenShift, Docker/Kubernetes and on‑premise environments.
• Use of AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to accelerate development and documentation.
