Mid-level Android Developer

About the role

Geidea is seeking a passionate Mid-level Android Developer to join its Mobile Applications team. You will design and build high‑performance Android apps that power fintech solutions, working closely with product, design, backend and QA teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex app modules, from design through deployment.
• Design clean, modular architecture using MVVM and Clean Architecture, including shared Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) components.
• Develop rich user interfaces with Jetpack Compose and Compose Multiplatform, ensuring design fidelity with UI/UX specifications.
• Integrate and optimise RESTful APIs with error handling, caching and offline support.
• Apply modern Android practices such as Coroutines, Flow, Hilt/Koin, Navigation Component, Room and WorkManager.
• Monitor app stability and performance using Firebase Crashlytics, Analytics, Performance Monitoring and Mixpanel, driving continuous improvements.
• Maintain high code quality through code reviews, unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of hands‑on Android development experience with strong Kotlin proficiency.
• Practical experience on Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) projects.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, multi‑threading and memory optimisation.
• Experience designing modular, feature‑based architectures.
