Mid-Level Software Engineer (PHP Laravel / Vue.js) – On‑Site

About the role

E-volve Technology Systems is seeking a passionate mid‑level software engineer to join its on‑site team in Alexandria. You will help design, develop, test, and maintain scalable SaaS web applications that power an Education Management Platform used by institutions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise web applications using PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and MySQL.
• Build secure, scalable RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with product, business, and technical teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning.
• Write clean, well‑documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance.
• Contribute to code reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of professional experience in software engineering or web development.
• Strong experience with PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Good experience with Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of MySQL database design and optimisation.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, clean‑code practices, and application architecture.
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
