Mixing Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mixing Engineer to join a multinational manufacturer of home and personal care products in 6th of October City, Egypt. The role focuses on optimizing mixing lines, reducing waste, and ensuring product safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Minimize waste and scrap across production activities.
• Oversee daily production reports and ensure safe operating conditions.
• Manage mixing lines to meet batch cycle time (BCT) and production targets.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and operational procedures for mixing operators.
• Participate in HACCP, PFMEA, and risk assessment programs.
• Use Gantt‑chart analysis to identify process gaps and drive improvements.
• Create and revise mixing and filling documentation (BMR, BPD) in collaboration with quality, NPD, and EPD teams.
• Track and close NCR, internal audit, and HSEQ actions.
• Train operators on procedures and ensure hygiene standards throughout the plant.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in FMCG, chemical, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical liquid production.
• Strong background in mixing or chemical/liquid manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
